About us
Colorado set a lofty goal to provide universal access, and we are getting close to that objective thanks to the historic access, Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) investment. Included in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) enacted by the Biden administration in November 2021 is BEAD. Colorado plans to invest a historic amount of money in the state's broadband infrastructure and initiatives using funds from BEAD. BEAD will support initiatives aimed at closing the digital divide in our state and assist us in fulfilling Governor Polis's vision of connecting 99% of Colorado households.
